Members of the IAPW team participated in “Free Arts Day” at a local homeless shelter in Minneapolis, MN. Children living in the shelter aged 4-12 years were invited to participate in a day of artistic expression & mentorship. Many of the children were Hmong refugees with little English-language skills.

Nevertheless, the children were able to communicate with those around them through the various art projects of the day. LifeTouch was also on hand to offer free portraits for the kids. The majority of these children had never had professional pictures taken of them, so this was a special treat. The children are still talking about this wonderful day!
